Visited this after GeoVDUB pointed it out, we were like what you on about?! Drove past it the next day and was like Whoaaaaaaa! 10mins later I text him and the next day we are up there!
Take a look, this was taken from an unrelated rooftop, Notice how the bridge just ends, looks awesome!...

Its mint and is home to a tramp China man! We got the shock of our lives and thought he was dead, we were very worried so we thought we best try to see if he was ok, we gingerly walked over and spent about 20mins saying Hello? Hello? Are you ok? In the end walked upto his hide and pointed our torches in his eyes and he woke up, we were scared but thought it was the best thing to do and we were glad he was ok.
Oh also we got oranges thrown at us when we were climbing up from someone living in Leeds City Island, we just thought GeoVDUB smelt nice but no he got a direct hit!
This a lovely viaduct and from what I can tell it used to lead to Leeds old train station that is now demolished, I really wanted to do some history on this place but cant really find anything solid if you know what I mean just tiny snipets next to photos of it, here is what I can tell you (not much!)
According to a man called Stephen Batty the LD&MR viaduct was comprised of 33 stone arches of 30’ span and 20 of 35’. Today only 17 arches remain plus the elegant ballustraded bridges over the Leeds & Liverpool Canal and the River Aire and leaded to this building (which I sure most people from Leeds well know) http://www.lostrailwayswestyorkshire.co.uk/images/Leeds/film%208%20(02-04-05)/16%20central%20sta%20tower%20east.jpg. I believe it was knocked down in the 60s when the train station was leveled, anyway Id love to know more!....
Anyways here is the pics!
