As reported RAF Driffield is now being condemned to being smashed to smitherines by the site's new developers, so before its all gone I poped over and had a mooch.
Most of the houses are now being stripped of anything that can be salvaged - mainly the roof tiles.
Piece of cake to get on site no one around except for the cadet area so kept my distance from them, defo gonna have to go back again though.

Demo is progressing really quickly here. Surely the developers could have refurbished the houses instead of knocking them down.

My thoughts exactly, thats what they did with the estate opposite. Suppose it all boils down to money as to wether building plots or redeveloment is more lucrative. Either way its a shame its going.

Well done on capturing what's left before it disappears for good!
