Visited Norwich Air Museum end of last year after they took delivery of a decomissioned Nimrod aircraft, managed to get a full tour of the aircraft in and out.

The Hawker Siddeley Nimrod was a Maritime Patrol Aircraft, its major role was Anti-submarine warfare although its secondary roles were maritime surveillance and Anti-surface warfare. The first flight was made in May 1967 and was retired on the 26th March 2010.

Norwich airport was originally a war time base known then as Horsham St Faiths, it was home to the American 458th Bombardment Group (Heavy) with their B24 Liberators. The museum has a lot of information and material from this era and a lot more.
