Villa Das,
I always pass this villa while driving to work. Every single time when I look at it its breathtaking. The house is abandoned and windows are broken. The door is sealed so I could never go in. but some weeks ago I stopped to take a look . there was an old doorbell with the names : Goossens Das. So I went home and took a look in the telephone book. I found an address listed under the same name in the same city in the same street. I got my hopes up and drove over to the address. I rang the doorbell once, but nobody answered. So I rang again, and yes an old lady opened the door. She was the one that had lived in this fabulous villa, but she moved because it was too big for her alone. She told me that she gave the key to her children because they will eventually sell the property. But she was so kind to give me the chance to take photographs of the domain and the house. That was very very kind off her. Because I’m still a stranger standing at her door. So I went over there in the weekend and took some nice pictures.
