Seems ages since I last got out and did something, so here is a nice heritage site for you all! :)

This is a fantastic place to spend an afternoon, if you haven't been I recommend you try and visit it sometime. :thumb

A Victorian mill still with all its looms and line shafting in place and to cap it all a working steam engine!

It closed in the early 80's and was preserved and maintained by a co-operative and now operates as a working museum.

Parts of 'Life on Mars' and ' North & South' were filmed here.

Nice work mate, very nice. I love the fact that somewhere in the UK, probably in a tiny village , or in an unassuming dead end in a northern town will be a place like this, locked up, forgotten and still intact. Super shots too :thumb
