Ramada Hotel Manchester

Described as an iconic 14-floor hotel, with 280 contemporary rooms overlooking Piccadilly Gardens.

I have been meaning to get up this one for an age, but word had it security was a bit more vigilant since it was getting done to death and the SNC managed to create a fuss, thus attracting unwanted attention.

As we mooched about the City, timing was on our side as the security was distracted we nipped in and before we knew it was gazing over the City from high above Piccadilly.

The views are stunning, and after all the fuss to get up here I had left my tripod in the car FFS!

I did the best I could, using my bag, phone & wallet as a makeshift tripod, which in the end I managed some quick shots before GTFO and into the night.

The only thing worse than forgetting your tripod is taking the heavy old tripod but forgetting the quick release bracket.

Quality shots all the same ojay..

I recommend one of these too. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Beanpod-camera-support-camera-beanbag-bean-bag-bean-pod-/160489877398?pt=UK_CamerasPhoto_CameraAccessories_ TripodsSupports&hash=item255df12f96#ht_1573wt_1139

fuckin ace mate!
now my geeky comment for the day... did you know that the landscaping on the square infront works as a CO2 sump. Air quality used to be really bad in the square due to the amount of traffic, but they used that as an idea for the design of a new square!
