Beverley Minster is renowned for the grace of its Gothic style. It contains elements of three styles: Early English, Decorated and Perpendicular.

On the site where Beverley Minster stands prayers have been offered to God for 1300 years.

It always dominates the skyline when driving towards Beverley. Its definately one of Yorkshires finer examples of eclesiastical architecture.

This has to be one of the finest in the country. and although in differing styles It's hard to determine the era's due to the continuing vaulted ceilings. You captured it well SS as these types of buildings are not easy to photograph :thumb

Did you manage to spot the 68 carved misericord seats by any chance? Now there's a quest :thumb

I literally got these in 5 minutes when passing through, the light is great in there.

Nice one. I would love to see inside the bell tower. I would also imagine this would have a decent crypt or undercroft too - nice shots as well :thumb
