On behalf of English Partnerships, NLP have submitted an outline planning application to comprehensively redevelop the Kingsway Hospital site, incorporating housing, employment, retail and open space. The planning application includes the demolition of the existing buildings; the erection of 700 dwellings; business units, retail units, the provision of associated infrastructure; and the installation of wood fuel (biomass) CHP technology as the primary energy source for the development.
