After my open day, i was honoured to be presented with a boxfile which on thorough examination was packed with lots of intresting and rare things.
From recruitment magazines, to diaries, post logs, dosimiters, manuals, unopened paperwork, certificates etc.

The reason behind Observer Hugill giving them to me was that he didnt need them anymore, sounds a bit silly but he wanted me to have them.

I was pleased with what i found.

It is this box, out of everything ROC related i own, that i treasure the most, as it has what i dont think many post restorers have for their posts, all the personal information/data.

Some of you may not have seen paperwork or stuff like this, so i thought i'd show you them.

It really does make a difference when you have the more personal stuff. There was an unopened packet of screws for the BPI with the NATO number on as well as brand new gaskets and stuff.

When someone gives you their pride and joy you know your passion for the subject is inspirational.. Keep up the good work fella.
